Q – How much do modular homes cost vs. 100% site-built
A – There are savings in material costs even though the same materials and products are used, but the factory can buy bulk. There are savings related to how quickly the project is completed.  

Q – Is a modular home the same quality as a site-built one?
A – Yes and the offsite built home has the benefit that the assembly in the factory requires the home to be driven on the highway and must be of an exceptional quality to arrive in the same condition it left in.

Q – Are Modular plans generic?
A – Actually, modular homes are fully customizable. You can provide your own final plans, sketches and drawings and we can provide a quote and plan to provide you with your heart’s desire.

Q – Are you able to provide Energy Star Compliance?
A – Yes Liberty is able to provide a fully certified Energy Star Compliant home and a recent study conducted by Certified Energy Raters, LLC, a third party company, found that our Energy Star® Homes exceeded the standards set by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Q – What type of foundation can I have?
A - You choose from the same options as with site-building: any foundation you want, such as the most common crawlspace, basement, and piers, which are common on the coast or flood zone areas. There is also a raised slab foundation available.

Q - Do your modular homes come with a warranty?
A - Yes. There is a 10-year structural warranty on the home from the manufacturer and a one year warranty from the New Homes by Liberty on the work that is done on site. However, you can purchase a 2-10 warranty from New Homes by Liberty at the time of closing.

Q - Are modular homes approved for my area?
A - Yes. Modular homes are built to the same exact codes as site-built homes. If necessary New Homes by Liberty will speak to your building department to assure them that these are Modular, not Manufactured homes.

Q - Will my home be built to my local building codes?
A - Yes. Liberty makes sure that the homes are built the highest standards and comply with your local building codes. Every home must pass the same requirements as a 100% site-built home. When the home is being built, there is an independent party that inspects it throughout the process to ensure everything is the best it can be.
